Iran has reportedly sent its official response to the United States’ proposed ceasefire plan through Pakistan, according to Iranian state media. Pakistan is said to be playing a mediatory role in the ongoing regional tensions.
Reports suggest that the proposed framework is primarily focused on ending hostilities and opening the door for diplomatic negotiations in the initial phase.
Iran has also warned countries supporting the U.S. resolution regarding the Strait of Hormuz, cautioning that such actions could lead to serious consequences and further instability in the region.
According to multiple reports, Iran had previously conveyed proposals to the United States through Pakistan concerning a permanent end to the conflict, the removal of sanctions, and issues related to the Strait of Hormuz.
Meanwhile, U.S. officials stated that they are awaiting Iran’s formal response, while diplomatic efforts continue to reduce tensions across the region.
